This page will give you the basic information in English about Sydkustloppet – the southern most race in Sweden!
Welcome to the south coast of Sweden!
We race along the shores and coast line of the Baltic Sea with water stench in the face and wind in our hair!
Sydkustloppet (= the South Coast Race) was first organised in 2009 and has grown steadily since. In 2014 and 2015 more than 700 runners started and enjoyed the 21,1 km that constitutes a half marathon.
We run eastward with the Baltic Sea as our constant companion, starting on the golf course(!), running through Trelleborg city center and then down to the East beach and onwards on soft nature paths all the way to Smyghuk – the southern most point of Sweden!
The course is flat but not all that easy, thanks to narrow, bumpy and sometimes sandy paths. You can count on lots of fresh air and better hope for tailwind!
We race again on Saturday April 30, 2016. The start is at 12:00, the starting area open at 10:00 and the goal area closes after the price ceremony around 16:00. Please note that start and goal are at different places, a half marathon apart! (There will be chartered buses from goal to start before the race).
Registration fee: Late registration (15-30 APril 2016): 400 SEK
Registration closes on Friday April 22nd. Go directly to external registration web >
